Connection, Authentic Relating & Intimacy: WHY?

Be Touched Community offers a haven where stories are shared, vulnerabilities are cherished and true connection can manifest.

We gather those wishing for more authenticity, more openness and limitlessness in their relationships and daily life. Our aim is in cultivating deep human connection, meaningful intimacy and facilitating heartfelt workshops.

We believe that by revealing our authentic self, while staying in connection with others is a way we can ground and learn to burn brighter together.

Our Ethos

Coming from a place of commitment to inclusion, creating circles of care and safety, we strongly believe in holding spaces where people can come as they are. We believe we all have blind spots, holograms and parts of ourselves we are wishing to heal or to be seen. This is the beauty and magic of sharing our whole selves in owned responsibility, awareness and through honoring self and other.

We are committed to our workshops being well held spaces that can welcome a diverse variety of people regardless of gender, colour, body and background.

It is up to participants to take responsibility for their well-being during workshops but we always create a safe space and have a member of the team available for those who need to sit out on certain games and exercises.

Authentic Relating

Authentic Relating is the practice of engaging in genuine and open communication with others. It involves being present in the moment, expressing one's thoughts and feelings honestly, and actively listening to and understanding the perspectives of others. The goal is to create a deeper connection and understanding between individuals by fostering authenticity and vulnerability in communication. It's about being real, both with yourself and with those around you.

Authentic Relating is based on the following five principles:

  • Welcome Everything

  • Assume Nothing

  • Reveal Your Experience

  • Own Your Experience

  • Honor Self & Other
